Wool Pellets

Our Wool Pellets are made from pure Wyoming wool. They are a high quality organic fertilizer for farms, gardens, and house plants. Wool provides nitrogen, potassium, sulfur, micro-nutrients, and most importantly carbon.  
 
The water holding capacity of wool is what makes it truly unique. Our research shows that wool pellets hold 4 times their weight in water. Adding wool to the soil reduces watering frequency and provides a source of slow release organic nutrients - especially in small containers.
 
While there is some variability based on the source of wool, the approximate fertilizer value is 8-0-5. That means it has more nitrogen than chicken manure, and it won't burn plants.
 
Wool can be added to the soil anytime, but for best results, add Wool Pellets in the fall to allow time for microbial decomposition.
